Bandai has fully revealed its new Master Grade Gunpla kit based on Gundam 00V’s Superbia Jinx, showcasing the unusual weapons and specialized equipment developed for the Mobile Suit’s stealthy amphibious missions.

The “MG 1/100 Superbia Jinx” recreates the GNX-612T/AA Superbia Jinx with newly molded armor, articulated claw-like feet, and GN Kunai weapons, alongside special display accessories that allow builders to recreate its ninja-inspired fighting style.

Originally introduced in 2009 through Mobile Suit Gundam 00V, the Superbia Jinx is a specialized development of the GN-XIII created for amphibious assault operations by the Earth Sphere Federation’s A-Laws forces.

The Gundam 00V side story expanded the original anime’s Anno Domini timeline through new mechanical designs and variations of existing Mobile Suits, including machines developed for missions outside conventional combat.

The Superbia Jinx was designed to approach targets underwater using a dedicated Amphibious Assault Unit, which could be discarded once the Mobile Suit reached land, allowing it to launch surprise attacks against enemy positions.

Its development also incorporated advanced technology associated with the Innovators, with performance approaching that of the later GN-XIV despite being based on an earlier generation of Mobile Suit.

First revealed at the 64th All Japan Model & Hobby Show earlier this month, the new Master Grade builds on Bandai’s existing GN-XIII kit, incorporating newly designed parts across the head, waist, legs, and other armor sections to recreate the Superbia Jinx’s unusual appearance.

The kit reproduces its dark indigo, brown, and gray coloring through separate molded components, with the modified head and additional equipment giving the finished model a very different appearance from the standard GN-XIII.

Among its main weapons are two newly molded GN Kunai mounted on the forearms, combining physical blades with integrated GN Vulcans and beam weapons.

The blades can swing forward for close-range attacks or fold back into their firing configuration, while the included beam effect parts allow builders to recreate the weapons’ GN Beam Needle mode.

Bandai has also developed new mechanisms for the Superbia Jinx’s feet, which feature movable sections that can unfold into claw-like appendages designed to grip surfaces.

These are particularly important for recreating the machine’s unusual combat poses, with the included action base and specially molded support beam allowing the completed model to hang upside down as though suspended from an overhead structure.

Additional accessories include replacement hands and display connectors, providing further options for recreating the Superbia Jinx’s unconventional fighting style.

Gundam 00 has also received other major Gunpla releases during 2026, including the new MGSD 00 Raiser, which recreates Setsuna F. Seiei’s upgraded Mobile Suit in the compact Master Grade SD format.

The “MG 1/100 Superbia Jinx” will be released as a Premium Bandai-exclusive kit in Japan, priced at ¥6,050 (approximately $38 / £29), with shipping scheduled for March 2027.

Pre-orders were originally scheduled to open on October 22, 2026, but Bandai postponed the launch after maintenance temporarily interrupted access to the Premium Bandai Japan website.

A replacement pre-order date has yet to be announced, with Bandai confirming that the revised schedule will be published once arrangements have been finalized.

No corresponding Premium Bandai US release has been confirmed, although Japanese Premium Bandai Gunpla announcements are frequently followed by US listings several days or weeks later, so it’s worth checking back regularly to see if pre-orders have opened yet.
