Arcade-royale brawler Sonic Rumble announces November release date

The upcoming “arcade royale” game, Sonic Rumble, is officially scheduled to launch in November of this year.
The new title, which is coming to PC, iOS, and Android devices, has been significantly evolved and improved over the past few months based on direct feedback from early testers.

In a new announcement, Sega has detailed some of the major, player-focused updates that have been implemented.

These include:
- A Deeper, More Dynamic Core: New features have been added to boost the competitive play, such as the ability to use iconic skills to obstruct opponents, and a new “Crew” system that allows friends to team up for time-limited events and extra rewards.

- Refined and Streamlined Journey: The new player onboarding experience has been completely revamped to get new players into the action faster, and the user interface has been improved with a new, unified hub for all mission and achievement-related tasks.

- Improved Progression and Rewards: The cosmetic and character progression systems have been updated to make every unlock feel more meaningful, and the in-game rewards and shop have been fine-tuned to create a more generous and exciting progression path.

Sega has stated that these adjustments were key in making Sonic Rumble “awesome for the long haul” and has promised that more content is still to come.

A new “Release Window Trailer” has been released to showcase the improved and refined gameplay.
