A new Demon Slayer collab event is coming to Puzzle & Dragons
A new collaboration event between the popular mobile game Puzzle & Dragons and the hit anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has been announced.
The new in-game event will introduce a large number of new characters and dungeons to the long-running puzzle RPG.
Puzzle & Dragons, from the developer GungHo Online Entertainment, is a pioneering title in the “match-three” RPG genre and is known for its frequent, high-profile collaborations with major anime franchises.
This new event will add several more of the highest-ranking members of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to the game.
The new characters include Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, and Gyomei Himejima.
Several powerful demons will also be added, including the Upper Rank demons Doma, Kaigaku, and Nakime.
In addition to these individual characters, a new series of special “paired” units will also be available, such as “Tanjiro Kamado & Nezuko Kamado” and “Muichiro Tokito & Mitsuri Kanroji.”
A new “Collaboration Badge” can also be acquired, which can be powered up by obtaining specific characters from the event.
Two new collaboration dungeons will be available for players to challenge.
The “Beginner” difficulty dungeon is themed around the early parts of the anime, from the “Unwavering Resolve Arc” to the “Mugen Train Arc.”
The “Advanced” difficulty dungeon is set during the recent “Hashira Training Arc.”
A special, time-attack style dungeon, the “‘Hashira’ Title Challenge!,” will also be available, which will reward players who clear it with a new, exclusive in-game title.
Other in-game events will include a special login stamp rally and a campaign where players can enter a lottery to win physical character figures.
The new Demon Slayer collaboration in Puzzle & Dragons is scheduled to begin on Friday, the 22nd of August, at 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time.
The event will run until 9:59 AM JST on Monday, the 8th of September, 2025.
