You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! ‘Loungewear’ Themed Pop Up Store 2026

A pop up store for the television anime series “You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends!” will be held at Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise 2 from March 20 to April 5, 2026.
The series is based on the popular manga by Shinaya Mitsunami which is currently serialized in Magazine Pocket.
The upcoming event will feature a wide range of new merchandise using newly drawn illustrations of the characters dressed in room wear.
Fans can purchase various items including acrylic keychains, acrylic figures, and rubber mats featuring these exclusive designs.
Customers who spend 2,000 yen or more including tax will receive one of five random postcards as a special bonus gift.
A special cross-over campaign will also be held in Akihabara during the event period involving both Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise 2 and the AKIHABARA Gamers Main Store.
To participate in this campaign, customers must spend at least 1,000 yen on related products at Volks and at least 1,000 yen on original illustration version merchandise at Gamers.
By presenting both receipts together at either participating location, visitors will receive an A4 size mini poster as an additional reward.
The main event space is located on the first floor of the Volks Akihabara Hobby Paradise 2 building.
