Universal Studios Japan has announced a new discounted ticket for locals in the region where the park is located.

The “Kansai NO LIMIT! Pass” will provide reduced prices on 1-day studio passes specifically for residents of the Kansai region.

The pass will launch at a time when there is significant excitement around new attractions coming to USJ, with collaborations with popular anime series The Apothecary Diaries, Spy x Family and One Piece set to open at the park throughout 2025.

Set to go on sale in late April, the new pass will allow local residents to access the park for less than out of town visitors.

Residents of the Kansai region will soon be able to get access to an exclusive discounted 1-day pass for USJ

The level of discount on offer varies based on age, with teenage residents of Kansai due to receive the largest discount.

To qualify for the discount, you’ll need to be a resident of one of the following Prefectures: Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Nara, Shiga, or Wakayama.

Adult individuals, defined as those aged 18 years and older, will be eligible to receive a discount of 1,000 Japanese yen on the standard price of a 1-day studio pass.

Teenagers, classified as individuals between the ages of 12 and 17 years old, will be entitled to a more substantial discount of 2,000 Japanese yen on the same 1-day studio pass.

For children, defined as those between the ages of 4 and 11 years old, a discount of 500 Japanese yen will be applied to the cost of a 1-day studio pass.

Eligible individuals can make purchases of the “Kansai NO LIMIT! Pass” exclusively through the official Universal Studios Japan website.

Purchases must be completed at least two days prior to the intended date of park admission, a measure that is likely to allow USJ staff time to ensure all discounted pass applications are valid.
