Trump set to visit Japan during 2025 World Expo in Osaka

Following his recent visit to America to meet with President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has revealed that he expects the U.S. President to visit Japan during the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, which will be held from April to October.

Whilst no date has been set for the visit, Prime Minister Ishiba did suggest to President Trump that he should consider aligning his schedule with the United States National Day, which is set to take place at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka on the 19th of July 2025.
The National Day will be held at the USA Pavilion, which will showcase American culture, technology, and innovation.

The USA Pavilion will invite visitors to envision a future that advances the very best of humanity.
With a striking wabi-sabi inspired exterior, the USA Pavilion consists of two triangular buildings with wooden facades, juxtaposed by an illuminated, suspended cube.
The pavilion design complements the USA Pavilion theme “Imagine What We Can Create Together” which empowers humanity to make advances collectively and creatively, and two LED screens project iconic landmarks from the USA.
Visitors to the USA Pavilion can see the latest in the United States efforts to develop advances in sustainability, space exploration, education, and entrepreneurship by encouraging exchange, collaboration and growth.
