Takao Osawa, who portrays Captain Shiro Kaieda and serves as a producer, confirmed that the upcoming sequel is intended to adapt the original manga’s storyline in its entirety.

Osawa noted that while the source material is extensive, filming for the final chapters of the saga has already commenced.

The producer expressed high expectations for the new installment, stating that the quality of the story, CGI, and acting will exceed that of previous entries in the franchise.
