The new “Nendoroid Kusuo Saiki” recreates the famously reluctant esper as part of Good Smile’s compact chibi-style figure line, complete with interchangeable expressions and several accessories taken directly from the anime.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. began as a comedy manga by Shuichi Aso before receiving its television anime adaptation in 2016, following an overwhelmingly powerful psychic who wants little more than to live an ordinary and uneventful life.

That becomes almost impossible thanks to Saiki’s enormous range of supernatural abilities and the eccentric classmates who repeatedly drag him into increasingly ridiculous situations.

The anime is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary throughout 2026, with the anniversary project previously introducing new commemorative artwork, fan voting for favorite episodes and merchandise inspired by some of the series’ most popular moments.

Good Smile’s new figure gives Saiki three interchangeable face plates that cover a serious expression, a visibly troubled look and a rare delighted smile.

That happier expression can naturally be paired with one of the figure’s most character-specific accessories: a serving of coffee jelly accompanied by a miniature spoon, recreating Saiki’s well-established weakness for the dessert.

His familiar green-tinted glasses are also included alongside a miniature figure of Sai, the white cat form that Saiki can transform into using his psychic abilities.

Sai retains several of Saiki’s defining features despite the transformation, including his glasses and a collar that replaces the power limiters normally attached to either side of his head.

Additional interchangeable parts allow the approximately 10 cm figure to be posed in several different ways, with a dedicated display stand included to support each setup.

The release comes during an active anniversary year for The Disastrous Life of Saiki K., which first aired in July 2016 and has remained popular internationally long after the original manga and anime reached their conclusions.
Pre-orders for “Nendoroid Kusuo Saiki”, priced at ¥8,800 (approximately $56 / £42), are now available through the Good Smile Company Official Shop and reputable figure retailers including HobbyLink Japan, ahead of shipping in March 2027.
