The “Chimera Ant Arc” is the focus of the next Hunter x Hunter Ichiban Kuji
A new “Ichiban Kuji” lottery from Bandai Spirits has been announced, this time themed around the epic “Chimera Ant Arc” from the anime series, Hunter x Hunter.
“Ichiban Kuji” is a “no-lose” prize lottery system sold at convenience stores and hobby shops in Japan, where every ticket purchased wins an item from a tiered lineup of exclusive merchandise.
The “Chimera Ant Arc” is one of the longest and most celebrated storylines in the Hunter x Hunter saga, a dark and complex story arc that explores the nature of humanity through the conflict between human hunters and the rapidly evolving Chimera Ants.
The prize lineup for this collection is designed to represent the arc’s most pivotal confrontations and characters.
The top prizes are a series of large, detailed figures from Bandai Spirits’ high-quality “MASTERLISE” brand.
The full prize lineup for the lottery is as follows:
- Prize A: Meruem MASTERLISE Figure
The first Ichiban Kuji figure of the Chimera Ant King, Meruem, whose evolution is central to the arc’s themes.
- Prize B: Netero MASTERLISE Figure
The first Ichiban Kuji figure of Hunter Association Chairman Isaac Netero, posed for his final, climactic battle against Meruem.
- Prize C: Gon MASTERLISE Figure
A figure of Gon from his intense confrontation with the Royal Guard, Neferpitou.
- Prize D: Killua MASTERLISE Figure
A figure of Killua in his “Godspeed” mode, a key ability he uses during the palace invasion.
- Prize E: Neferpitou MASTERLISE Figure
A figure of the Royal Guard member whose actions trigger Gon’s tragic transformation.

This collection includes a rubber tray designed to look like the “Gungi” board game, an item central to Meruem’s development and his relationship with the human girl, Komugi.

A collection of stationery, including a flipbook that recreates Netero’s “Hundred-Type Guanyin Bodhisattva” attack.

- Last One Prize: Gon ~Adult ver.~ MASTERLISE EXTRA Figure
A massive, one-meter-tall figure of Gon in his powerful, transformed adult state from his final, devastating battle with Neferpitou.
This prize is awarded to the person who buys the final ticket.
- Double Chance Campaign
An additional online lottery offering 50 chances to win the same one-meter-tall “Adult Gon” figure.
The lottery will be available at participating 7-Eleven, Ito-Yokado, and Youme Town stores.
The “Ichiban Kuji HUNTER×HUNTER CHIMERA ANT ➁” is scheduled to begin its sequential rollout at stores later this month, on Friday, the 29th of August, 2025, and the price for one ticket will be ¥790.
