Stunning New Summer Fireworks Inspired Hatsune Miku Statue Opens for Pre-Orders

Good Smile Company has revealed a new Hatsune Miku figure that brings a popular anniversary illustration to life in 1/7 scale form.
The new scale figure is inspired by the “Music & Fire Works – Time Capsule -” project, which was created as part of the celebrations for Hatsune Miku’s 16th anniversary.

Since her debut as a virtual singer, Hatsune Miku has become one of the most recognizable digital performers in the world, inspiring music, artwork, live events, games, and an extensive range of figures and merchandise.

Over the years, artists have reimagined Miku in countless styles, with festival-themed designs remaining particularly popular among collectors and fans alike.

The new “Hatsune Miku: Music & Fire Works Ver.” figure is based on artwork illustrated by Atiki and captures Miku enjoying a summer evening illuminated by fireworks.

Standing approximately 23 cm tall, the figure depicts Miku dressed in a beautifully decorated yukata featuring soft blue and purple tones accented by floral motifs.

Particular attention has been paid to recreating the original illustration, with intricate sculpting used throughout the outfit to preserve the fine details of the design.

Miku’s iconic twin-tail hairstyle flows naturally behind her as if caught by a gentle summer breeze, helping create a sense of movement throughout the display.

Translucent materials have been incorporated into both the flowing hair and the large obi sash, allowing light to pass through and produce an effect reminiscent of fireworks glowing against the night sky.

Additional silver detailing on the obi enhances the reflective qualities of the piece while adding further visual depth to the overall presentation.

The decorative hair ornaments blend traditional Japanese aesthetics with a modern interpretation that complements Miku’s distinctive appearance.

One of the figure’s standout features is her soft expression as she glances back over her shoulder, creating a calm and dreamlike atmosphere that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant festival setting.

Completing the display is a specially designed base featuring a fireworks-inspired motif that resembles reflections shimmering across a puddle during a summer festival evening.

The combination of the detailed sculpting, translucent effects, and carefully applied paintwork helps recreate the warmth and wonder of a seasonal celebration while showcasing a different side of the beloved virtual idol.

The “Hatsune Miku: Music & Fire Works Ver.” 1/7 scale figure is scheduled for release in June 2027 and is priced at ¥27,800 (approx. $190 USD/£140 GBP).
