Studio Trigger Releases Official Cyberpunk:Edgerunners Artbook

Fans of the hit anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners can soon dive into its neon-soaked production secrets thanks to a newly announced artbook.

Studio Trigger is officially releasing “The Art of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners” to showcase the intricate design work behind the acclaimed series.

Set in the dangerous and technology-obsessed metropolis of Night City, the standalone animated story is based on the incredibly successful video game universe by CD Projekt Red.

The kinetic animation and striking visual style of the series have earned it widespread critical acclaim and a dedicated global fanbase.

This massive new official artbook spans 318 pages and compiles an extensive array of the production materials that the animation staff utilized to bring the chaotic world to life.

All of this visual content is divided into ten different chapters that cover various stages of the complex animation process.

Inside the book, fans will find concept designs, character settings, and background art boards from main designers Hiroyuki Imaishi, Yoh Yoshinari, and Yuto Kaneko.

The artbook also encompasses prop color settings, opening and ending sequence storyboards, key visuals, and a collection of previously published promotional illustrations.

Exclusive commentary from director Hiroyuki Imaishi opens each chapter, offering fans a deeper understanding of the demanding production cycle.

The front cover is graced by a brand new, exclusive illustration drawn specifically for this physical release by Yoh Yoshinari.

The book also features opening storyboards crafted by Kai Igarashi, who is currently directing the animation studio’s next highly anticipated project.
