Street Fighter 6 Surpasses 7 Million Units Sold

Capcom has announced that total sales for Street Fighter 6 have officially exceeded seven million units globally as of June 8, 2026.
The latest data indicates that 300,000 copies have been sold since the previous reporting milestone on March 31, 2026, when the game stood at 6.7 million units.

The latest entry in the long-running fighting game franchise originally debuted on June 2, 2023, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
The title later expanded its reach to the Nintendo Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, contributing to its sustained commercial momentum.

Street Fighter 6 utilizes the proprietary RE Engine to power three specific game modes titled Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub.
Players can access traditional experiences such as Arcade Mode and local versus battles within the Fighting Ground category.

The World Tour mode offers a single-player story-driven experience where users create a custom avatar to explore the game world.
Social interaction is facilitated through the Battle Hub, which serves as a dedicated destination for the player community to engage with one another.

The roster features a mix of classic characters like Ryu and Chun-Li alongside newer additions such as Luke and the breakdancing expert Jamie.
Technical innovations include a real-time commentary feature with subtitles in 13 languages and a new Drive System for offensive and defensive maneuvers.

Accessibility is addressed through a Modern Control Type that simplifies inputs for new players, while the Classic Control Type remains available for veterans.
The Street Fighter series has now sold more than 47 million units since the brand first appeared 35 years ago.
