Square Enix announces re-release of Kingdom Hearts music boxes and accessories due to fan demand

Square Enix has begun accepting a new round of orders for a range of previously sold-out merchandise based on its popular Kingdom Hearts video game series.
The action role-playing game franchise is a long-running collaboration between Square Enix and Disney, blending original characters with those from Final Fantasy and classic Disney films.

The re-released items tap into specific, memorable aspects of the series’ extensive history and universe.
Let’s take a look at all of the Kingdom Hearts items that are now available to order again!
- Music Boxes

These small, mechanical music players play signature musical themes from the games, which are known for their orchestral scores by composer Yoko Shimomura.

They are priced at 2,970 yen (approx. $20.21 USD / £14.91 GBP) each.

- Canvas Pouch (100 Acre Wood)

These pouches feature artwork from the “100 Acre Wood” world, a location based on Disney’s Winnie the Pooh that is presented in the games as a magical storybook.

They are priced at 1,980 yen (approx. $13.47 USD / £9.94 GBP) each.

- Kingdom Hearts II Hair Clip Set (Halloween Town A)

This set of hair clips is themed after the “Halloween Town” world, an adaptation of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas where the game’s heroes adopt spooky appearances.

It is priced at 1,980 yen (approx. $13.47 USD / £9.94 GBP).
- Metal Keychain Set

This set recreates some of the series’ most iconic equipment, including Sora’s Kingdom Key Keyblade, Donald Duck’s Mage’s Staff, and Goofy’s Knight’s Shield.

The set is priced at 3,300 yen (approx. $22.45 USD / £16.57 GBP).
- Munny Pouch

This pouch is designed to look like the in-game Munny Pouch used in Kingdom Hearts II.

It is available for 3,300 yen (approx. $22.45 USD / £16.57 GBP).
- Acrylic Magnet Gallery Vol. 1 (10-piece Box)

This is a boxed set containing a collection of acrylic magnets featuring various pieces of artwork from the series.
The full box of 10 pieces is available for 8,800 yen (approx. $59.89 USD / £44.19 GBP).
The decision to reopen orders for these items is due to overwhelming fan demand for merchandise from the Kingdom Hearts series, which continues even despite the delays to the next installment in the series, Kingdom Hearts IV.

It follows the re-release of Kingdom Hearts plushies and an Ichiban Kuji lottery earlier this year.
The re-released Kingdom Hearts merchandise is currently available for order through the official Square Enix e-STORE.
