Sony Unveils New PS Plus Monthly Games for January 2026

Sony Interactive Entertainment has officially unveiled the January Monthly Games lineup for PlayStation Plus Essential subscribers, featuring a diverse collection of titles available for the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 consoles.

The three selected games will be available for members to add to their library starting January 6 and will remain claimable until February 2.

The highly anticipated list includes the mining sandbox adventure Core Keeper, the vibrant platformer remake Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, and the adrenaline-fueled racer Need for Speed Unbound.

Core Keeper, available on both PS5 and PS4, is an award-winning one-to-eight-player experience that casts players as an explorer awakening in a forgotten cavern.

The game focuses on harvesting relics and resources, crafting advanced tools, building bases, and exploring a dynamically evolving underground world.

Explorers will level up their skills, defeat legendary Titans, and uncover the mysteries of the Core, with additional activities like gardening, fishing, and animal care adding depth to the adventure.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, also cross-gen on PS5 and PS4, brings the magic of Disney to life in a beautiful 3D platformer.

Players assume the role of Mickey Mouse as they journey through Wasteland, a realm inhabited by forgotten Disney characters.

Using a magic brush, players manipulate the environment with paint to restore harmony or thinner to alter the surroundings and reveal hidden secrets.

The adventure features the return of iconic characters, including Walt Disney’s first creation, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit.

Rounding out the lineup is Need for Speed Unbound, specifically for the PlayStation 5 console.

This latest entry in the iconic racing franchise from Criterion Games delivers hours of electric racing action with separate single-player and multiplayer campaigns.

Racers start at the bottom and must compete against time, evade police pursuit, and take on weekly qualifiers to earn a spot in The Grand, Lakeshore’s ultimate street racing challenge.
