Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Announces Godzilla, Evangelion, Avatar and TMNT Crossover DLC
SEGA has outlined a range of upcoming downloadable content for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds while also announcing a new licensed cooperative game titled SONIC PICO PARK, developed by TECOPARK.
Several crossover franchises are set to join Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds through future content packs scheduled across 2026 and beyond.
The first of these additions will be the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack, planned for release in July 2026.
This expansion will introduce Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo as playable racers alongside new vehicles, themed race tracks, and music inspired by the long-running franchise.
An Avatar-themed content pack is scheduled to follow in October 2026.
Players will be able to race as Aang and Katara while also gaining access to additional vehicles, courses, character emotes, music, and other content based on the Avatar universe.
SEGA also confirmed plans for a second season pass that will arrive during the game’s second year of post-launch support.
The Year Two pass is set to include six separate downloadable content packs featuring additional characters, tracks, and other gameplay content.
While full details have not yet been disclosed, the company has already revealed that Godzilla and Evangelion-themed packs are among the planned additions.
Further information regarding the remaining Year Two content is expected to be announced later in 2026.
Alongside the racing game updates, SEGA introduced SONIC PICO PARK, a new title that adapts the cooperative puzzle-action gameplay of the popular indie game PICO PARK into the Sonic the Hedgehog universe.
The project is being developed by TECOPARK and will feature Sonic-themed characters, stages, and gameplay elements while retaining the chaotic cooperative style that made the original game successful.
According to the announcement, players can expect a blend of teamwork-focused puzzles and Sonic-inspired mechanics designed specifically for the crossover experience.
Additional details about SONIC PICO PARK have not yet been revealed and are expected to be shared at a later date.
Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is currently available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC through both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
No pricing information for the newly announced downloadable content packs or SONIC PICO PARK was announced as part of the reveal, though the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pack is scheduled for July 2026, the Avatar Pack for October 2026, and the broader Season Pass Two content is planned for release during the game’s second year of support.
