The winners of the “Japan Game Awards 2025” have been officially announced in a ceremony held by the Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association (CESA).
The top honor, the Grand Award, was given to the new role-playing game from Atlus, Metaphor: ReFantazio.

The fantasy RPG from the acclaimed development team behind the popular Persona series was praised for its deeply crafted gameplay and its bold new direction, shifting from the modern, “juvenile/school” setting of its predecessors to a full fantasy world.
