See all of McDonald’s Japan’s Chiikawa ‘Happy Meal’ toys

McDonald’s Japan has revealed the full range of Chiikawa toys customers can expect to find in Happy Meals this month.
The “Chiikawa Happy Meal” was first revealed last month and will be available for a limited period at McDonald’s restaurants across Japan starting from Friday, May 16th, 2025.

Chiikawa is a small and adorable cat-like creature created by manga artist Nagano.
The series has built a massive following in Japan and internationally thanks to its endearing characters and often humorous yet poignant depiction of their daily lives.

The manga and subsequent anime adaptation have reached a wide audience, making Chiikawa and its friends Hachiware (a small cat-like creature) and Usagi (a lively rabbit) popular figures in contemporary Japanese pop culture.
This special “Chiikawa Happy Meal” will feature a delightful collection of eight unique toys, all centered around the theme of the Chiikawa characters working as McDonald’s crew members.

These toys, designed by McDonald’s own team members, include a variety of practical stationery items and everyday use objects infused with Chiikawa’s charm.
The full line up includes the following toys:
Chiikawa Drink Cup Pen Holder

Usagi Mini Pancake Case

Hachiware Tray Photo Frame

Rakko’s Driving Rolling Car

Hachiware McDonald’s Calendar

Chiikawa Memo Set

Usagi Sticker Dispenser

Momonga McDonald’s Sign Pencil Cap

The “Chiikawa” Happy Meal toys will only be available at McDonald’s locations in Japan for approximately four weeks from May 16th.
McDonald’s Japan has implemented a purchase limit of four toys per person for individuals buying Happy Meals, to ensure that as many customers as possible have the opportunity to acquire them.
The number of each individual toy within the collection is limited and they will be available only while supplies last, encouraging those seeking specific items to head to McDonald’s as soon as possible once the toys become available.
