Sanrio’s top 3 characters adorn new limited-edition lattes

The popular Japanese chilled drink brand, Mount Rainier, has launched its annual collaboration with Sanrio Characters.
This year’s partnership features a new series of limited-edition package designs on the brand’s non-coffee “Creamy” latte line.
Mount Rainier, produced by Morinaga Milk Industry, is a well known brand in Japanese convenience stores and supermarkets, due to its wide variety of cup-style coffee and latte drinks.
The theme for this year’s collaboration celebrates the top three of the 2025 Sanrio Character Ranking, a massive annual public poll that determines the official popularity of the company’s characters.

The three characters featured are Pompompurin, Cinnamoroll, and Pochacco, who came in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively.

The collection is being released in two phases, with a second set of package designs featuring the characters with their friends scheduled to roll out sequentially as the first wave sells out.
The full product lineup is as follows:
- Mount Rainier Creamy Matcha Latte


- Mount Rainier Creamy Strawberry Latte


- Mount Rainier Creamy Hojicha Latte


The Matcha and Strawberry Latte versions are currently on sale, while the Hojicha Latte is scheduled for release on Tuesday, the 26th of August, 2025.
Each 240ml drink has a suggested retail price of ¥205.
In addition to the special packaging, an “instant win” lottery campaign is also being held.
The “Anytime Creamy Campaign” offers a chance to win one of 300 original plush toys based on the collaborations official artwork:

The campaign is currently running and is scheduled to conclude at 5:00 PM on Friday, the 12th of September, 2025.
