Sanrio launches exciting new customizable merch collection
Sanrio has announced a new range of customizable acrylic charms.
The “Sanrio Secret Custom Acrylic Charms” collection allows fans to create a unique collectible by personalizing their own keychain.
The character mascot can be removed and swapped, and items like stickers or beads can be inserted to add an individual touch.
Some fans may even choose to put a photo of their favorite actor, singer or a loved one inside, creating a super personal charm.
Sanrio frequently releases innovative and exciting new merchandise collections that appeal to its global fanbase, by creating a product for everyone, ranging from plush toys to stationery.
The new acrylic charm collection features an extensive selection of popular Sanrio characters, including Hello Kitty, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Kuromi, Pochacco, Pompompurin, Badtz-Maru, Little Twin Stars, and many more, including newer characters like Hanamaruobake and Cogimyun.
Let’s take a closer look at the three charm themes that will be available:
Shell
The shell shaped charms feature Sanrio characters as adorable mermaids.
Flower
The flower shaped charms feature characters transformed into cute ladybugs and bees.
Rosette
Rosette shaped charms feature the characters adorned in corresponding color ribbon-themed outfits.
The “Secret Custom Acrylic Charms” are scheduled for release on Wednesday, June 25th, 2025, with each charm priced at 693 yen (tax included).
As “secret” items, the contents of each box cannot be chosen when purchased, which adds an element of surprise to every purchase.
Sanrio have also confirmed that three more designs of “Secret Custom Acrylic Charms” will release in September including a special Halloween themed design.
The “Secret Custom Acrylic Charms” will be available for purchase at Sanrio directly-managed stores, department store Sanrio corners, and the official Sanrio online shop.
Please note that some stores may not carry the product, and they will not be sold at outlet or Sanrio cafe locations.
