Sanrio launches ‘cheeky’ new merch focusing on fan favorites’ behinds

Sanrio has announced a range of new items in their “Oshiri Series” of merchandise, which focuses on a very specific part of each characters anatomy.
This adorable collection puts a unique spotlight on the “fluffy butts” of popular Sanrio characters, promising a playful and charming addition to any fan’s collection.

Sanrio consistently innovates with its merchandise, offering collections that appeal to fans of all ages, from traditional plush toys to unique lifestyle items.
The “Oshiri Series” range of merchandise embraces a light-hearted perspective, focusing on a cute and often overlooked aspect of Sanrio’s favorite characters.
The new items in the “Oshiri Series” will be rolled out in phases, with different product types becoming available throughout the summer.

The initial launch will feature a set of fluffy stickers on June 30th, 2025, showcasing characters Hello Kitty, Kuromi, My Melody, Cinnamoroll, Pochacco, Pompompurin, and Hangyodon.

Following this, “mascot butt hair clips” will be released on July 30th, 2025, featuring Hello Kitty, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, Hangyodon, and Pochacco.
Stickers will be priced at 660 yen each and hair clips priced at 858 yen each.
These adorable items will be available at various retail locations, including the T’s Factory Online Shop, as well as general stationery and merchandise stores and character shops across Japan.
