Sanrio and HORI Unveil New Cinnamoroll and Kuromi Nintendo Switch 2 Controllers and Carry Cases

HORI has revealed a new collection of officially licensed Nintendo Switch 2 accessories inspired by two of Sanrio’s most popular characters, Cinnamoroll and Kuromi, with matching controllers and protective carrying cases set to arrive this summer.
The lineup combines playful character artwork with practical everyday gaming accessories, offering fans a coordinated set designed specifically for Nintendo’s latest console.

Leading the collection is the HORIPAD TURBO Mini, which is available in both Cinnamoroll and Kuromi editions for ¥3,980 each (approx. $27 USD / £20 GBP).

Each controller features a glossy transparent finish enhanced with sparkling glitter, giving the designs a vibrant appearance while remaining officially licensed for Nintendo products.

Designed with smaller hands in mind, the compact controller features rounded grips that provide a comfortable hold for younger players as well as anyone who prefers a lighter, more compact gamepad.

Compared to HORI’s standard controller, the HORIPAD TURBO Mini offers a noticeably smaller footprint while reducing its weight from approximately 246 g to around 170 g, making it easier to carry and use during extended play sessions.

The controller also includes adjustable Turbo and Turbo Hold functions, allowing compatible buttons to fire automatically at approximately 5, 10 or 20 presses per second depending on player preference.

A dedicated C Button has also been incorporated, providing instant access to Nintendo Switch 2’s GameChat feature.

Accompanying each controller is a matching Puffy Hybrid Pouch, available in Cinnamoroll and Kuromi versions for ¥4,480 each (approx. $30 USD / £23 GBP).

Although designed with a soft, plush appearance, the carrying case combines its charming exterior with a durable EVA construction that helps protect the console while travelling.

The Cinnamoroll version features adorable dessert-themed artwork, a soft fluffy handle and a matching Cinnamoroll charm, while the interior is decorated with additional exclusive illustrations.

The Kuromi version follows a similar concept with dessert-inspired artwork of Kuromi, complemented by a gathered fabric handle, Kuromi’s signature skull charm and themed artwork inside the case.

Both versions feature a layered top section that adds depth to increase protection, making them well suited for everyday use whether carried alone or packed inside a larger bag.

Each pouch has enough storage space for one Nintendo Switch 2 console together with up to 10 physical game cards, giving players room to carry both their system and a selection of favorite games.

HORI’s new Cinnamoroll and Kuromi Nintendo Switch 2 accessory collection is scheduled for release in August 2026, with the HORIPAD TURBO Mini priced at ¥3,980 each (approx. $27 USD / £20 GBP) and the Puffy Hybrid Pouch available for ¥4,480 each (approx. $30 USD / £23 GBP).
