Sanrio and Honda release new line of collab merchandise

Sanrio has announced that they are teaming up with automotive giant Honda to release a range of exclusive merchandise.
The collaboration will feature five of Sanrio’s most popular characters, Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin and Cinnamoroll riding iconic Honda Super Cub motorcycles.

Sanrio regularly takes part in collaborations across various industries, from fashion to technology, including a recent collaboration with Japan’s top toy car brand Takara Tomy.

This venture with Honda, a global leader in automotive and power equipment manufacturing, marks an interesting cross-industry partnership that aims to appeal to a broad audience of fans of both brands.

These items will be available at select Munyugurumi Patio retail locations across Japan:
- Kanagawa Prefecture: Yokohama World Porters 2nd floor
- Osaka Prefecture: Umeda EST 1st floor
- Aichi Prefecture: Nagoya Parco East Building B1 floor
Additionally, a special limited-time pop-up is currently running in Tokyo at Seibu Shibuya, A Building 2nd floor, from June 7th to July 16th, offering an early glimpse and opportunity to purchase these exclusive collaboration goods.
Alternatively, if you can’t make it to any of the stores listed above, sales will commence online via the Munyugurumi Patio official store on the 5th of July at 11:00 JST.
