Pre-registration is now open for the new Bungo Stray Dogs Academy mobile game

Pre-registrations have officially opened for a new smartphone game based on popular anime Bungo Stray Dogs.
“Gakuen Bungo Stray Dogs” (Bungo Stray Dogs Academy) is a “youth adventure” title that reimagines the world of the popular anime and manga series, Bungo Stray Dogs, in a “what if” school setting.

Bungo Stray Dogs is a series where famous literary authors are reimagined as characters with supernatural abilities.
This new game will feature characters like Atsushi Nakajima, Osamu Dazai, and Ryunosuke Akutagawa in a new “school life” scenario, allowing for new and different types of interactions between them.

The gameplay will take the form of what is described by the developer as a “line strategy battle” game, which takes place in an alternate world called the “Isekai.”

To celebrate the opening of the game’s store pages, a social media campaign is currently underway on X.
By following the official account and reposting the campaign message, fans can enter a multi-stage lottery to win a variety of prizes.
The top prizes are signed “shikishi” art boards from the voice actors Yūto Uemura (Atsushi Nakajima) and Mamoru Miyano (Osamu Dazai).

Other prizes include B2 posters and A4 clear files featuring the game’s key visual artwork.
“Gakuen Bungo Stray Dogs” is a free-to-play game with in-app purchases, and it is scheduled to be released in early November 2025 on iOS and Android platforms.
A new promotional video has been released, which provides a first look at the game’s features and its unique high school setting:
