Pre-orders open for "Ninja Gaiden 3" Kasumi action figure

Kaiyodo have opened pre-orders for their figure of the “NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge” version of Kasumi.

This new addition to their “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi” series brings to life the popular kunoichi (female ninja) that stars in both the Dead or Alive games and the NINJA GAIDEN series.

The figure was announced earlier this month alongside a figure of Ryu Hayabusa, the lead character from the NINJA GAIDEN series, based on both characters appearance in “NINJA GAIDEN 3: Razor’s Edge”.

NINJA GAIDEN is series of video games that started in 1988 and has been celebrated for its intense, fast-paced combat and demanding gameplay ever since the series transitioned into 3D in 2004.

Kasumi, a skilled ninja from the Mugen Tenshin clan, is known for her agility, deadly techniques, and distinctive appearance.

Her inclusion in the Amazing Yamaguchi lineup is sure to excite both fans of the games and collectors of high-quality action figures.

The “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Kasumi” figure depicts the character in her striking jet-black ninja outfit, known as “Tokoyozakura” (Eternal Cherry Blossom).

True to the Amazing Yamaguchi line’s emphasis on dynamic posing, the figure features a highly articulated body, allowing for the recreation of Kasumi’s fluid and acrobatic ninja maneuvers.

The figure’s full-body articulation is specifically engineered to accommodate deep bends and dynamic action poses, reflecting Kasumi’s agile fighting style.

A visually striking element of Kasumi’s design is her flowing cape. The figure includes an interchangeable cape piece that captures a fluttering state, adding a sense of motion to static poses.

As the name of her costume suggests, the cape is beautifully printed with a delicate cherry blossom pattern, a signature motif associated with Kasumi.

Her dignified facial features are also brought to life with the detail that collectors expect from Kaiyodo.

Enhancing the figure’s expressiveness is the inclusion of a movable eyeball gimmick, enabling collectors to adjust her gaze for a variety of intense and captivating displays.

Kasumi’s primary weapon, Shrouded Moon, is faithfully recreated with the figure. Collectors have the option to display Shrouded Moon in either its sheathed or unsheathed state by interchanging the handle parts.

Adding a further touch of realism, the arm strap that hangs from the end of the Mist Blade’s handle can be attached at two different angles, allowing for the expression of different fluttering motions, enhancing the visual dynamism of various poses.

To provide a wide range of display possibilities, the figure comes with a variety of optional parts, including a hand posed in a hand sign (kuji-in), and two distinct kunai (ninja throwing knives).

For fans who pre-order the “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Kasumi” figure through either Kaiyodo’s official stores (Kaiyodo Online Store, Hobby Lobby Tokyo/Kadoma, Kaiyodo China T-mall Flagship Store) or through the Koei Tecmo Games Online Shop, a special limited bonus will be included: the “Windmill Kunai”.

The “Revoltech Amazing Yamaguchi Kasumi” figure is priced at priced at 11,000 yen (tax included) and will be available for pre-order until August 1st, with figures due to be shipped to customers in line with a release date of January 2026.
