Pre-orders open as huge wave of Gunpla re-releases announced for September 2025
BANDAI SPIRITS has announced a large number of re-releases for popular Gunpla kits.
This wave of 19 products primarily consists of high-demand sold-out kits, each of which are set to be re-released in September.
The re-releases include a wide selection of model kits from various “Gundam” universes and spin-off series, giving fans another chance to acquire models that may have been difficult to obtain previously.
Let’s take a look at the full range of kits that are being re-released!
MG 1/100 Gundam Mk-V
- Price: 9,240 yen (approx. $63.96 USD / £46.79 GBP)
This is the second re-release of the Master Grade (MG) 1/100 scale kit of the “Gundam Mk-V” that was originally released in 2021.
The Gundam Mk-V hails from “Gundam Sentinel,” a popular photo-novel series from the Universal Century timeline that takes a more realistic and detailed approach to mobile suit design.
The kit is known for replicating the intricate deployment gimmicks of the Mk-V’s unique weaponry, such as its incoms (funnel-like remote weapons), missile pods, and beam cannons.
HG 1/144 GN Arms TYPE-E (Real Color Ver.)
- Price: 5,390 yen (approx. $37.37 USD / £27.24 GBP)
This High Grade (HG) 1/144 scale model is a realistic color version of the GN Arms support unit from “Mobile Suit Gundam 00”.
“Gundam 00” is set in a future where humanity relies on orbital elevators for energy, leading to conflicts that require intervention from a private military organization called Celestial Being.
The GN Arms Type-E is designed to combine with the “RG 1/144 Gundam Exia”, and this re-release includes newly designed realistic decals for enhanced detail.
RG 1/144 Gundam Astraea Type-F
- Price: 4,840 yen (approx. $33.55 USD / £24.46 GBP)
This Real Grade (RG) 1/144 scale kit features the Gundam Astraea Type-F, a mobile suit from the “Mobile Suit Gundam 00F” side story.
“Gundam 00F” and “00P” are spin-offs of “Gundam 00” that delve deeper into the origins and activities of Celestial Being and its experimental Gundams before the main series’ events.
MG 1/100 Gundam Astraea + Proto GN Twin Broad Blade

This Master Grade kit includes the Gundam Astraea along with its Proto GN Twin Broad Blade and is another re-release of a kit from a “Gundam 00” spin-off series.
MG 1/100 Gundam F90
- Price: 4,840 yen (approx. $33.55 USD / £24.46 GBP)
This kit represents the titular mobile suit from the “Mobile Suit Gundam F90” manga, a storyline set in the Universal Century where the Earth Federation’s Strategic Naval Research Institute (SNRI) develops smaller, high-performance mobile suits.
The Gundam F90 is notable for its Mission Pack system, allowing it to swap out specialized equipment to adapt to various combat environments.
MG 1/100 Gundam F90 (Mars Independent Zeon Army Specification)

Its re-release follows the re-release of the Chubs and Kale Zaku II Gunpla kits from the same series.
BB Senshi 344 Oda Nobunaga Gundam

This kit is inspired by Oda Nobunaga, one of the most significant daimyo (feudal lords) in Japanese history, who unified Japan in the 16th century.
BB Senshi 354 Toyotomi Hideyoshi Gundam

This model represents Toyotomi Hideyoshi, a historical figure who rose from humble beginnings to become one of Japan’s most powerful leaders after Nobunaga’s death.
BB Senshi 355 Tokugawa Ieyasu Gundam

This Gunpla kit is inspired by Tokugawa Ieyasu, based on the founder and first shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate, which ruled Japan for over 250 years.

These mission packs allow collectors to fully explore the F90’s modularity and create numerous different configurations.
