PokéPark KANTO reveals first look at its real life Pokémon Center

New images of Japan’s upcoming Pokémon-themed amusement park, “PokéPark KANTO,” have been revealed, providing a first look at the Pokémon Center that will be located within the park’s bustling “Kayatsuri Town.”
“PokéPark KANTO,” which was officially announced in July, is the first-ever permanent, outdoor theme park for the Pokémon franchise.
It is an evolution of the temporary “PokéPark” amusement parks that were held in the mid-2000s and is currently being constructed within a large section of the Yomiuriland amusement park in the Tama Hills area of Tokyo.

The new attraction will be divided into two main zones: the nature-focused “Pokémon Forest” and the town-like “Kayatsuri Town.”

Kayatsuri Town is designed as a vibrant hub where trainers and Pokémon can gather, and it will be home to a variety of shops and attractions.

These will include a “Pokémon Trainers’ Market,” a “Friendly Shop,” a Pokémon Gym, character greeting areas, and two ride-style attractions.

The newly released photo shows the exterior of the Pokémon Center, which will be one of the main facilities in this area.
The building is a faithful, real-world recreation of the iconic healing and shopping centers that are a staple of the Pokémon video games, providing an immersive experience for visitors.

The park’s other main zone, the “Pokémon Forest,” will be an expansive, natural environment where guests can observe over 600 different Pokémon from the Kanto region as if they were in the wild.

The release of this new image comes as development for the park moves forward, with recruitment for a wide variety of staff positions, including “Forest Rangers,” having recently begun.

“PokéPark KANTO” is scheduled to have its grand opening in the spring of 2026, with tickets set to go on sale this autumn.
