Pokémon Cafe Announces Major Menu Updates and New Interactive Show

Fans of the Pokémon series are in for a treat this summer as a massive wave of updates are coming to the official Pokémon Cafe stores in Japan.
A brand-new grand menu and a new interactive live performance will debut at the Pokémon Cafe TOKYO and Pokémon Cafe OSAKA branches just in time for the summer season, introducing a wide variety of themed food, sweets, and drink options.

These exciting menu additions coincide with the highly anticipated grand reopening of the Pokémon Cafe Tokyo branch on June 17, 2026.

The popular Nihonbashi dining spot has been closed for extensive renovations since March 23, 2026.

Visitors can now look forward to dining on new meals inspired by fan favorite pocket monsters, featuring creative presentations that bring the digital world directly to the dining table.

Let’s take a look at the new menu options that will be available for Pokémon fans to order!

To accompany the new sweets, an interactive live performance titled “Let’s Make Pika Pika Parfait” will begin running regularly at the venues.

This ten-minute live event features a special mascot appearance where guests can participate in making the titular parfait dessert alongside the famous electric mouse.

Diners will be greeted by one of three different characters, as Chef Pikachu, Waitress Pikachu, or Patissier Pikachu will randomly appear to host the cooking event.

Drink orders will also come with a special commemorative bonus to celebrate the ongoing 30th anniversary of the series.
Customers ordering any beverage from the menu will receive one random logo sticker featuring a special cafe version design.

There are three different sticker designs available, and these promotional giveaways will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
The Pokémon Cafe Tokyo’s redesign introduces a brand-new dedicated stage area specifically built to host the new parfait-making show.

More decorations and visual displays have also been added throughout the dining space to enhance the immersive atmosphere.
The newly updated grand menu, interactive live performances, and updated pricing are scheduled to officially launch on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

These updates will be available at both the Pokémon Cafe TOKYO in Nihonbashi and the Pokémon Cafe OSAKA in Shinsaibashi.
