Physical Edition of Dark Mass for PS5 Announced

Path Games has revealed a new gameplay trailer for the first-person psychological horror title Dark Mass and confirmed that Selecta Play will handle the distribution of physical editions for the PlayStation 5.

Announced on June 6, 2026, the physical release will include both a Standard Edition and a comprehensive Collector’s Edition for enthusiasts.

The Standard Edition features a physical copy of the game along with an illustrated manual.

The Collector’s Edition is housed in a special box and includes the game, the manual, an official art book, a lenticular postcard, and a replica of Alice’s turtle bracelet.

Fans who purchase the Collector’s Edition will also receive the original soundtrack in digipack format and an exclusive SteelBook case.

Set entirely underwater, Dark Mass follows deep-sea explorer Alice as she investigates an ancient shipwreck and a mysteriously preserved sunken manor alongside her brother, Reed.

The gameplay emphasizes atmospheric dread through limited visibility and vertical exploration while Alice solves ritual puzzles inspired by historical inquisitorial tortures.

Players must navigate these flooded halls while evading Silas, a monstrous entity that has haunted the manor for centuries.

The narrative features a fully voiced walkie-talkie system for communication between Alice and Reed, and player decisions will lead to various branching endings.

While the physical editions are exclusive to PlayStation 5, Dark Mass will also be available digitally on Xbox Series and PC via Steam.
