PG 1/60 Strike Freedom Gundam Returns to Premium Bandai US for a Limited Time

The PG 1/60 Strike Freedom Gundam is back in stock at Premium Bandai US, providing another welcome opportunity to secure the large-scale Gunpla after periods of limited availability through general retailers.
Although the kit is not a Premium Bandai exclusive, Perfect Grade releases can be difficult to find consistently due to their price and the fact that they often receive fewer reprints, making its return particularly useful for collectors who have been waiting to add it to their collection.

Based on Kira Yamato’s upgraded mobile suit from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny, the kit presents the Strike Freedom Gundam at an imposing 1/60 scale with extensive surface detail, layered armor, and a complete internal frame.
The mobile suit’s white, blue, red, and black exterior is contrasted by prominent gold-colored mechanical sections, with Extra Finish parts used across areas of the internal frame to give the completed build a more premium appearance.

Sliding armor exposes more of the golden frame as the joints move, helping the kit retain plenty of visual detail even when it is displayed in a relatively simple standing pose.
The Strike Freedom’s enormous wing assembly provides the main attraction, with eight Super DRAGOON units arranged across four mobile weapon wings to create one of the widest and most recognisable silhouettes in the Perfect Grade range.

Sliding the Super DRAGOON units activates an interconnected deployment system that expands the surrounding wing sections, allowing the model to transition into its dramatic HiMAT and Full Burst Mode displays.
The combination of the expanded wings, exposed gold frame, and large 1/60-scale body gives the completed kit a substantial presence that can easily become the centrepiece of a Gundam SEED collection.

A dedicated display base is included to support the considerable weight of the model and create elevated poses with the wings spread behind the body.
Strike Freedom Gundam’s extensive weapon selection begins with two Beam Rifles that can be carried separately or connected into a longer combined weapon for more powerful firing poses.

Two waist-mounted Xiphias 3 Railguns can be moved into their forward-firing positions, allowing the kit to recreate the multi-weapon Full Burst Mode associated with the mobile suit.
The close-combat equipment includes two Beam Sabers with translucent effect parts, while a clear PET component recreates the Strike Freedom’s defensive Beam Shield.

An LED unit is included for the head, illuminating the eyes and camera sections to add another focal point when the completed model is placed on display, although the required batteries are sold separately.
The kit also includes interchangeable manipulators, a seated Kira Yamato figure for the cockpit, marking sheets, and the smaller accessories needed to complete its detailed Perfect Grade presentation.

Its reinforced waist and leg joints have been designed to support the model’s large frame and heavy backpack while still providing the articulation needed for standing, airborne, and weapon-firing poses.
With its huge Super DRAGOON wings, reflective golden frame, comprehensive weapon loadout, illuminated head, and included display stand, the PG Strike Freedom Gundam remains one of the most visually impressive options available to fans of Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny.

The PG 1/60 Strike Freedom Gundam is now back in stock through Premium Bandai US for $326.
