Persona 5 Royal to get its own official range of traditional Japanese sake

A new collaboration has been announced between the Japanese sake brand HINEMOS and the popular role-playing game Persona 5 Royal.
HINEMOS is a unique sake brand that is built around the concept of “time,” with each of its different sake bottles being named after a specific time of day, such as “SHICHIJI” for 7:00 PM.

This theme is a perfect match for the world of Persona 5 Royal, a game where players must manage their time by living the life of a high school student during the day and a phantom thief at night.

The new collaboration features a lineup of three new, completely original sake blends, each inspired by a different character from the game.
The bottles for the new sake are also a premium collectors item.
Instead of a paper label, the character artwork has been screen-printed directly onto the glass, making the empty bottle a durable and reusable decorative item.

The three new sake blends are as follows:
- HINEMOS x JOKER edition
- Price: ¥6,600 (approx. $45 USD/£33 GBP)

A “rich and dry” sake with a crisp finish, designed to evoke the feeling of a vivid, dark night.

- HINEMOS x VIOLET edition
- Price: ¥6,600 (approx. $45 USD/£33 GBP)

A rosé-colored, “rich and sweet” sake with a dry finish, designed to represent the dual nature of the character Kasumi Yoshizawa.

- HINEMOS x CROW edition
- Price: ¥6,600 (approx. $45 USD/£33 GBP)

A balanced and dry “nigori” (cloudy) sake with a soft texture, inspired by the complex personality of the character Goro Akechi.

The three new collaboration bottles are also available as a “full set,” priced at ¥16,500 (approx. $112 USD/£83 GBP)

This bundle includes all three of the main bottles and a special, exclusive bonus item: a non-sale, 170ml mini-bottle of a fourth, original sake.
This “HINEMOS x MONA edition” is a fruity sake inspired by the character Morgana, which is specially designed to be paired with sushi.

The collaboration is a limited-quantity, pre-order exclusive release.
Pre-orders for the new collection are scheduled to open on the official HINEMOS online store on Friday, the 10th of October, 2025, at 9:00 PM Japan Standard Time.
The bottles are scheduled to be shipped in early December.
