Peni Parker Confirmed for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls

Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arc System Works have announced that Peni Parker is joining the roster of the upcoming four-versus-four tag fighting game MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls.
Peni Parker will be featured as a member of The Amazing Guardians team alongside Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, and Star-Lord.

The announcement includes the reveal of a new battle stage called Knowhere which is based on the location from the Guardians of the Galaxy series.
Spider-Man is voiced by Josh Keaton, while Ms. Marvel is voiced by Dalia Rooni, Star-Lord is voiced by Scott Porter, and Peni Parker is voiced by Risa Mei.
Players can explore the backstory and team dynamics of these four heroes in the dedicated Episode Mode.

Peni Parker is a Japanese-American student who pilots a powerful mech suit known as SP//dr and utilizes a variety of gadgets to create strategies during combat.
The game will feature a unique detail where Peni occasionally speaks Japanese, a trait that will be preserved across different language voice-overs.
A new character named The Promoter, voiced by Sabrina Fest, has been introduced as an Elder of the Universe who organizes high-stakes tournaments across the galaxy.

The latest build of the game introduces an Automatic Team Name Generation feature that creates names based on Marvel lore for custom four-character teams.
Developers have implemented various refinements and improvements following feedback from two Closed Beta tests conducted last year.
A hands-on demo featuring Peni Parker and the Knowhere stage will be playable at EVO Japan 2026 in Tokyo from May 1 to May 3, 2026.

The EVO Japan build will include a total of 12 playable characters and four different stages for attendees to experience.
MARVEL Tokon: Fighting Souls is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on August 6, 2026.
