Orion Beerfest in Koza
The Orion Beerfest is the largest and most anticipated annual festival hosted by Orion, Okinawa’s famous local beer brewery.
This lively event takes place in Koza, the central area of Okinawa City, and is considered the definitive celebration to mark the end of summer.
The main attraction is, of course, the fresh and ice-cold Orion draft beer, served in a massive open-air venue.
A large stage provides continuous entertainment, featuring live music performances from a lineup of popular Okinawan artists and bands.
On Saturday, the stage will feature acts including SugLawd Familiar and MuKuRo, with MINMI as the headliner.
Sunday’s lineup includes performances from Shishi no Odoshi and HoRookies, with the legendary Okinawan band DIAMANTES closing the show.
In addition to the beer, there are dozens of yatai, or food stalls, selling a wide variety of delicious local Okinawan cuisine and festival snacks.
Each night of the festival culminates in a spectacular fireworks display, lighting up the sky above the venue.

- The venue is accessible via the Okinawa Expressway, getting off at the Okinawa-Minami Interchange.
- Parking
- Official event parking is extremely limited, and traffic in the surrounding area will be very heavy.
- Using public transport or a taxi is strongly advised.
