Orders open for two new Hatsune Miku plushies designed by DECO*27
A new pair of plush toys has been announced by Good Smile Company, based on the unique “DECO*MIKU” version of the virtual singer Hatsune Miku.
“DECOMIKU” is a special version of Hatsune Miku created for and used by the massively popular and influential Vocaloid music producer, DECO*27.
Due to her widespread popularity, Hatsune Miku often gets unique designs created for collaborations, with one such example being a recent set of illustrations created for a new wave of merchandise that also features Sanrio’s adorable puppy, Cinnamoroll.
The character design, illustrated by the artist Omutatsu, serves as the official mascot for DECO*27’s musical projects and his company, OTOIRO.
This new release brings the stylized character to life in the form of two different plush toys.
The plushies are titled “Plushie DECOMIKU Lightness” and “Plushie DECOMIKU Darkness,” offering two different interpretations of the character.
Each plush toy is made from polyester and stands at a height of approximately 17 centimeters.
This release offers fans the rare chance to collect merchandise based on the unique visuals that accompany DECO*27’s music.
The “DECOMIKU Lightness Plushie” and “DECOMIKU Darkness Plushie” are priced at ¥5,500 (approx. $37 USD/£28 GBP) each.
The pre-order period for the plush toys is currently open via the official Good Smile Company online store, and is scheduled to run until the 17th of September, 2025, and they are scheduled to be shipped to customers in February of 2026.
Two other ranges of Hatsune Miku collaboration plushies were recently announced, with the first being a team up with the iconic Gundam mech series.
The second new plush collection is part of a collaboration with the popular gentle seal, Sirotan.
