Hatsune Miku and the adorable seal mascot Sirotan team up for new exclusive collab merch line
A new collaboration has been announced, bringing together the virtual singer Hatsune Miku and the popular, gentle seal character, Sirotan.
The new product line features a variety of limited-edition mascot plushies and keyholders.
Sirotan is a beloved “iyashi-kei,” or “healing-type,” character in Japan, known for his soft, fluffy appearance as a baby harp seal.
This new partnership features two main design concepts.
The first is a plush of Hatsune Miku, who is shown holding a tiny Sirotan plushie of her own and wearing a special Sirotan-themed hair accessory.
This design is available in two different sizes: a larger, 20.5-centimeter-tall mascot plush and a smaller, 11.5-centimeter keychain version.
The second concept features Sirotan dressed up in the iconic costumes of Hatsune Miku and her five fellow virtual singers from Crypton Future Media, known as the “Piapro Characters.”
This lineup includes Sirotan cosplaying as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO.
Each of these keychain plushies features special details, such as facial embroidery and a musical note charm on the ball chain that are colored to match the specific character’s image.
The full product lineup is as follows:
- Hatsune Miku Mascot (holding Sirotan): ¥5,000
- Hatsune Miku Keychain (holding Sirotan): ¥3,000
- Costume Keychains (Sirotan as Miku, Rin, Len, Luka, MEIKO, or KAITO): ¥2,200 each
The collaboration merchandise will be sold at a limited-time, physical pop-up store.
The “Sirotan Funwari Store” will be held at the Ichiban Plaza in Tokyo Station’s “First Avenue Tokyo Station” complex.
The pop-up store is scheduled to run from next Wednesday, the 13th of August, to the 21st of August, 2025.
The items will also be sold online through the “Tokyo Character Street Online Plaza” from the 13th of August to the 24th of August, 2025.
