Orders open as RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam’s “Shiranui Pack” gets fifth production run
BANDAI SPIRITS has announced a fifth production run for the highly sought-after “RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam Shiranui Pack & HG Zeus Silhouette Connection Parts” option set.
This optional set is designed to significantly enhance the “RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam (Oowashi Pack)” (sold separately), allowing collectors to transform their golden Mobile Suit and expand its combat capabilities.
The Akatsuki Gundam, a distinctive unit from “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY,” is known for its reflective golden armor and versatile backpack systems, making these new parts a highly anticipated release.
The centerpiece of this set is the Shiranui Pack, which has been meticulously created with an entirely new sculpt.
This ensures that the characteristic, intricate shape of the Shiranui Pack is reproduced with incredible detail, adhering to the precise and sharp molding standards expected from the Real Grade (RG) series.
The Shiranui Pack has a number of original RG gimmicks. Utilizing multiple movable axes, it can transform into various configurations, accurately reflecting its in-anime appearances.
A dedicated display stand is included, allowing fans to pose the Akatsuki Gundam with the Guided Mobile Beam Turret System fully deployed.
The DRAGOON units themselves feature pull-out mechanisms for dynamic presentation.
Perhaps one of the most exciting additions for cross-kit compatibility is the inclusion of the “HG Zeus Silhouette Connection Parts.”
These parts enable the Zeus Silhouette (which comes with the separately sold “HG 1/144 Destiny Gundam Spec II & Zeus Silhouette”) to be mounted onto the RG Akatsuki Gundam.
This unlocks incredible display possibilities, allowing fans to create unique combinations not directly seen in the anime but highly anticipated by the community.

- Marking Stickers (for added detail)
- Weapon Display Bases x2 (for posing DRAGOONs)
It’s important to note that the main Mobile Suit (Akatsuki Gundam) is not included with this product.
To fully recreate the displayed poses, you will need this product along with the “RG 1/144 Akatsuki Gundam (Oowashi Pack)” (sold separately) and the “HG 1/144 Destiny Gundam Spec II & Zeus Silhouette” (sold separately).
Pre-orders for this essential upgrade opened on Premium Bandai today, May 20th, 2025, at 11:00 AM JST.
The set is priced at ¥4,400 (approximately £22 / $28 USD) and is slated for shipping in September 2025.
