ONE PIECE CARD GAME Reveals New Shonen Jump Exclusive Luffy Promo Card
One Piece is celebrating the 29th anniversary of its manga serialization with a brand-new exclusive ONE PIECE CARD GAME promotional card that will be included with an upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump.
The commemorative bonus features Monkey D. Luffy in his Elbaf arc outfit, surrounded by an enormous feast of meat in artwork created especially for the milestone release.
To help meet anticipated demand from fans and collectors, publisher Shueisha will increase the magazine’s print run by an additional 500,000 copies beyond its usual circulation.
Created by Eiichiro Oda, One Piece first debuted in Weekly Shonen Jump in July 1997 before becoming one of the world’s most successful manga series, with more than 600 million copies in circulation worldwide.
This latest collaboration between Weekly Shonen Jump publisher Shueisha and the rapidly growing ONE PIECE CARD GAME offers readers another chance to get an exclusive promo card just for picking up the latest issue of their favorite manga.
Fans who subscribe to the digital editions of Weekly Shonen Jump through Shonen Jump+ or Zebrack will also have access to a special mail-order campaign beginning July 6 at 1:00 PM.
The campaign allows eligible subscribers to obtain a complete eight-card set featuring four standard editions matching the magazine bonus card alongside four premium foil-stamped holographic versions of the same design.
Applications will remain open until August 6 at 11:58 PM, and readers who begin a qualifying digital subscription during the application period will also be eligible to participate.
The special eight-card set requires an application fee of ¥1,210 (approx. $8 USD / £6 GBP), which includes domestic shipping and handling within Japan.
Weekly Shonen Jump Issue 33, featuring the exclusive Monkey D. Luffy ONE PIECE CARD GAME promotional card commemorating the manga’s 29th anniversary, will be released on July 13, 2026, while applications for the optional eight-card subscriber set will be accepted from July 6 through August 6, 2026.
