OMORI Developer OMOCAT Announces Persona 30th Anniversary Collaboration
Indie art studio OMOCAT has officially announced a new collaboration project with the Persona series, as part of the latter’s 30th anniversary celebrations.
The partnership was unveiled on June 17 and immediately attracted significant attention from fans eager to learn what the crossover project will involve.
Despite the lack of concrete details, excitement surrounding the announcement has already been substantial across social media platforms.
At the time of writing, the reveal post had accumulated more than 31,000 likes despite offering only a brief teaser about the collaboration.
The strong response shows the level of excitement shared by fans of both Persona and OMOCAT’s distinctive works.
OMOCAT is best known as the studio behind the psychological horror RPG OMORI, which launched in 2020 and received widespread praise for its memorable visual identity, atmospheric presentation, and striking artwork.
The Persona series remains one of the most popular role-playing franchises in gaming, blending supernatural storytelling, social simulation mechanics, and turn-based combat into a unique experience that has attracted a global audience over several decades.
