Official Usada Pekora Plum Wine Gets A Re-Release with New Special Bottle Design

The Japanese liquor manufacturer Meiri Shurui has officially announced the return of a popular collaboration featuring the virtual YouTuber Usada Pekora from the hololive production agency.
The Hyakunen Umeshu Pekora is set to be re-released in a newly illustrated special bottle.

Hololive is a highly successful virtual talent agency managed by Cover Corporation.
The agency features a diverse roster of female entertainers who broadcast live streams using animated avatars.

Usada Pekora is one of the most beloved talents in the group, recognized by her rabbit ears and energetic personality.
Her streams often feature gaming, chatting, and interactive segments with her dedicated fanbase.

Meiri Shurui is a historic brewery located in Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture.
The company is famous for its award-winning Hyakunen Umeshu series, which translates to Hundred Year Plum Wine.

These premium liquors are carefully aged using selected plums and masterful blending techniques to create a rich, layered sweetness.
This particular beverage was specifically developed to match the personal taste preferences of the famous virtual rabbit.

The project began with the goal of creating her ultimate favorite plum wine to be enjoyed alongside her live broadcasts.
The manufacturer prepared two different prototypes for the talent to sample, and she ultimately selected the lighter, more refreshing option.
To add depth to the flavor profile, the final product blends plum wine that has been aged for over 18 years.

The resulting beverage offers a light and easy-to-drink experience while maintaining a satisfying richness.
Fans can enjoy the drink straight, on the rocks, or mixed into various cocktails.
The partnership between the two parties originally began back in 2019 when the streamer tasted the brand’s plum wine during a live broadcast.
Her candid and enthusiastic reaction went viral, leading to their first official collaboration bottle in November 2020.

That previous version will be officially discontinued once the remaining stock is sold out.
The label for this new special edition features exclusive artwork by the acclaimed illustrator Ume Aoki.
The artist drew a cute and charming illustration of the virtual idol that perfectly matches the light yet rich taste of the drink.

Aoki shared a comment expressing her joy at drawing the character again and playfully warned fans to be careful not to drink too much while enjoying the broadcasts.
The special plum wine is priced at 3,500 yen (approx. $23 USD / £18 GBP) for a 500-milliliter bottle.
This alcoholic beverage features an alcohol content of 12 percent.
Fans can purchase the drink exclusively through the official Meiri Shurui online shop in Japan.
Sales are officially scheduled to begin on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM JST.
