Official Pokémon Pinball Machines Revealed by Stern

Stern Pinball has announced a new collaboration with The Pokémon Company International to bring the world-renowned monster-catching franchise to the silverball arena.
The “Pokémon by Stern Pinball” collection features a range of machines designed to immerse players in the journey of becoming a top Trainer through high-energy arcade gameplay.

Stern Pinball is the world’s oldest and largest producer of arcade-quality pinball machines, known for integrating modern technology with classic mechanical action.

Pokémon first debuted in Japan in 1996 and has since grown into a massive global entertainment franchise spanning video games, trading cards, and an iconic animated series.

This new machine is powered by Stern’s advanced SPIKE 3 technology, allowing for a dynamic experience that simulates catching creatures and battling rivals in a physical environment.

In this adventure, players travel across four different habitats to discover and bond with various fan-favorite species.
The playfield features a mechanically animated Poké Ball that players can shoot to capture Pokémon and build their ultimate team for their digital collection.

An animatronic Pikachu is mounted on the playfield to react to the player’s performance, while an interactive Meowth Balloon toy swoops down to initiate battles against Team Rocket.

The experience is further enhanced by original video clips from the animated series and custom voiceovers for Pikachu and the notorious villain, Giovanni.
Fans will also recognize the iconic “Pokémon Theme” song playing throughout the game to celebrate the legacy of the franchise.

The machine utilizes the Insider Connected system, which allows Trainers to track their progress and save their captured Pokémon to a digital collection viewed in the Stern app.
For those seeking the most premium experience, a Limited Edition model is available and restricted to only 750 units globally.

This version includes an interactive electromagnet in the battle arena to add unpredictability to the ball’s movement.
The Limited Edition is also equipped with the Expression Lighting System and Speaker Expression Lighting System, which provide themed visual effects that sync with the gameplay.

It features a full-color mirrored backglass, high-definition cabinet decals, custom pinball armor, and a bottom arch autographed by the designer.

Additional technical upgrades for the Limited Edition include a shaker motor for tactile feedback, an upgraded audio system, and anti-reflection playfield glass.

Each of these rare pieces is identified by a sequentially numbered plaque and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

The Pro version is priced at $6,999 USD (approx. £5,799 GBP / 1,050,000 yen), while the Premium model is available for $9,699 USD (approx. £7,599 GBP / 1,455,000 yen).

The highly collectible Limited Edition model is priced at $12,999 USD (approx. £10,499 GBP / 1,950,000 yen).

These machines are available now through authorized Stern Pinball distributors and dealers worldwide.
