Nintendo Reveals Adorable New Star Fox Switch 2 Remake Plush Collection

Following the sudden announcement of the new Star Fox video game, Nintendo has teamed up with manufacturer San-ei Boeki to create a brand new line of adorable plush toys.
The merchandise reveal coincides with Nintendo’s recent surprise Star Fox Direct broadcast on Thursday, May 7, which officially unveiled a cinematic reimagining of the classic space combat title for the Nintendo Switch 2 console.

Scheduled to launch globally on June 25, the modernized game delivers a complete visual overhaul of the beloved Nintendo 64 adventure while taking full advantage of the power of the new hardware.

Players will experience fully voiced dialogue, detailed cinematic cutscenes, and a sweeping orchestral soundtrack as they pilot their Arwing aerospace fighters to save the Lylat System from the maniacal scientist Andross.

The Switch 2 game also introduces exciting modern improvements, such as a brand new four-versus-four Battle Mode, branching campaign paths based on completed objectives, and innovative Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for intuitive aiming alongside dynamic GameChat AR filters.

To help celebrate the new game, the upcoming plush lineup features the four core members of the mercenary team, allowing fans to add the defenders of the Lylat System to their collections:
- Fox McCloud

The team leader measures 12cm wide, 12cm deep, and 25cm tall.
- Falco Lombardi

The ace pilot measures 14cm wide, 12cm deep, and 25cm tall.
- Peppy Hare

The veteran mentor measures 14cm wide, 12cm deep, and 29cm tall.
- Slippy Toad

The mechanical genius measures 14cm wide, 10cm deep, and 20cm tall.
Each design carefully captures the unique features and classic outfits of each character, delivering a high-quality collectible for long-time fans of the legendary sci-fi property.

Each plush is priced at 3,300 yen (approx. $21 USD / £17 GBP) and the entire wave is scheduled to launch in late June 2026, perfectly aligning with the release of the new game.
