NieR fans can soon brighten up their room with a new Emil shaped room light

Prize manufacturer Taito has announced a new prize item to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the NieR video game series.
The new product is a room light designed to look like the iconic head of the character, Emil.

Emil is one of the most significant and beloved characters in the entire NieR franchise, first appearing in the original NieR Gestalt/Replicant.
He is a young boy who, through a series of tragic events, is transformed into a magical, skeletal being with an eternally fixed, wide grin.

Despite his haunting appearance, he maintains a cheerful and kind personality, and his journey has made him a fan-favorite character who also makes a memorable appearance in the sequel, NieR:Automata.
This new room light is a faithful, three-dimensional recreation of his unique and unforgettable head design.

The product is designed to illuminate a room with a gentle glow, offering a functional and decorative item for fans of the long-running series.
As a “prize” item, this product will not be available for direct purchase at retail stores, and it will be exclusively available to be won in crane games and other arcade machines.

The “NieR 15th Anniversary Room Light – Emil” is scheduled for release in amusement facilities across Japan from Saturday, the 9th of August, 2025.
