New The Eminence In Shadow: Lost Echoes Movie Trailer Reveals 2027 Release

The Eminence in Shadow: Lost Echoes anime film is officially scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters in 2027.
Production details and promotional materials for the upcoming movie were showcased during a dedicated stage event at AnimeJapan 2026 on March 29, 2026.
The event featured the debut of the second teaser trailer and a new key visual for the project.
The film serves as a direct continuation of the television anime series, which is based on the light novels written by Daisuke Aizawa and illustrated by Touzai.
Yukari Tamura has joined the voice cast as Yuuka Asakura, a physician at a Messiah clinic, adding to her portfolio of notable roles such as Suzuha Amane in the Steins;Gate series.

Kazuya Nakanishi returns to direct the film at animation studio Nexus, maintaining the core creative team from the previous seasons.
Kanichi Kato is confirmed to write the script, while Makoto Iino returns to handle character designs for the new theatrical entry.

The story follows Cid Kagenou, a protagonist who seeks to operate as a mastermind in the shadows after being reincarnated into a magical world.
Cid establishes the Shadow Garden organization to fight a cult he believes is fictional, only to discover the group is a genuine threat to society.

Fans can currently stream the first two seasons of the television adaptation on HIDIVE, an American subscription service owned by AMC Networks.
HIDIVE has provided a platform for Sentai Filmworks licensed titles since its launch on June 20, 2017.
