New Racing Miku 2026 Design Revealed by Good Smile Racing
Motorsport team Good Smile Racing has announced that a collaboration with racing team TKRI will continue for the upcoming 2026 season.
As part of the announcement, the two companies revealed a brand-new illustration showcasing the “Racing Miku KYOJO 2026 Ver.” design.
Racing Miku serves as the official mascot for the Hatsune Miku GT Project, bringing anime culture to the Japanese racing scene for over a decade.
This special version of the famous virtual singer Hatsune Miku is specifically created for use by TKRI on livery during races in the KYOJO CUP.
The KYOJO CUP is a professional motorsport championship in Japan created exclusively for female racing drivers.
Good Smile Racing is highly respected for heavily featuring the vocal synthesizer software mascot on their official competition vehicles.
Fans can expect to see this new Racing Miku design prominently displayed on the actual race car competing in the female-only series.
Popular Japanese illustrator Toridamono was officially selected to design and draw the artwork for this specific 2026 KYOJO racing campaign.
Toridamono is highly regarded in the entertainment industry for his impressive character design work on various video games.
This new illustration takes a very different approach compared to previous iterations of the iconic motorsport mascot.
Instead of wearing a traditional motorsport racing suit, Miku is dressed in a cute and elegant one-piece dress.
While Toridamono handled the KYOJO CUP design, Good Smile Racing has also commissioned several other artworks for the current racing season.
Renowned artist Kouhaku Kuroboshi was officially selected to illustrate the primary designs for the broader 2026 motorsport schedule.
Kuroboshi provided the artwork for the standard Racing Miku 2026Ver. that will represent the main Super GT racing team.
He also illustrated the Racing Miku 2026 TEAM UKYO Support Ver. and the special Racing Miku 2026 Sepang Ver. designs.
A separate unique illustration is also created annually to represent the team during the grueling Spa 24 Hour race.
However, the official Racing Miku design for the 2026 Spa race, set to take place from 24 – 28 June 2026, has not yet been revealed to the public.
These beautiful artworks will be used to produce a wide variety of promotional merchandise and high-quality character figures.
