New Hatsune Miku wax stamps feature intricate designs by illustrator Rella
A new line of merchandise has been announced for the virtual singer Hatsune Miku, which will allow fans to create their own traditional sealing wax stamps.
The new product line is a series of “Hatsune Miku” Sealing Stamps, which are being released by Sony Music Solutions.
Sealing stamps are an item used to press a design into melted wax, a practice which originated in medieval Europe to seal letters but is now a popular and creative hobby.
This new collection features three different stamp head designs, all of which are based on popular illustrations by the artist Rella.
Rella also personally handled the stamp designs for this project, resulting in a beautiful and intricately detailed final product.
The three stamp head designs are based on the following key visuals:
- “Hatsune Miku: Little Missing Stars”
- “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2020 ~5th Anniversary~”
- “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2025: Sapporo Performance Ver.”
In addition to the stamp heads, three different, original blend wax sets, also created by Rella, will be sold.
To celebrate the launch, two different hands-on “experience” events will be held where fans can try out the new stamps.
The first will be at the “Rella Exhibition: Stargazer & Lucid Dream in OSAKA” event, which will be held on the weekends of the 20th-21st and 27th-28th of September.
The second will be at the “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2025” concert at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall on the 4th of October.
A separate collaboration will also be held with the “Sealing Stamp Craft shop WOODPEPE” in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, where customers can rent the new stamp heads to use in the store’s “all-you-can-make” workshop.
The full product lineup is as follows:

- Stamp Head “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2020 ~5th Anniversary~”: ¥2,420 (approx. $16 USD/£12 GBP)
- Stamp Head “Hatsune Miku Symphony 2025 Sapporo Performance Ver.”: ¥2,420 (approx. $16 USD/£12 GBP)
- Sealing Wax #01 / #02 / #03: ¥1,100 (approx. $7.5 USD/£4.5 GBP)
Pre-orders for the new collection will open on a staggered schedule via the official Oshi Craft website.
The “Little Missing Stars” stamp and the wax sets will be available for pre-order starting from Saturday, the 20th of September, at 11:00 AM Japan Standard Time.
Pre-orders for the two “Miku Symphony” stamps will begin on the 4th of October.
