New gothic birthday party themed Kuromi prize lottery announced by Sanrio

A new “Atari Kuji,” or “Winning Lottery,” has been announced, which will be the second in a series of special releases celebrating the 20th anniversary of the popular Sanrio character, Kuromi.
“Atari Kuji” is a “no-lose” prize lottery from Sanrio, where every ticket purchased is guaranteed to win one of the items from an exclusive prize lineup.

This new collection is themed around a “birthday party,” with a gothic and cute aesthetic that uses balloon and cake motifs.
The lottery features a wide range of practical and charming goods.
The top prize is a full-sized, carry-on suitcase.
The full lineup of eleven different prizes is as follows:

The “Last Special Prize” is a bonus item that is awarded to the person who purchases the final ticket from a set.
This new collection offers fans a unique and celebratory way to mark the long history of the beloved “self-proclaimed rival” of My Melody.
The new “Kuromi Atari Kuji” is scheduled to begin its rollout at Sanrio shops, convenience stores, and other retailers across Japan from Saturday, the 4th of October, 2025, and the price for one ticket in the lottery is ¥800 (approx. $5.4 USD/£4 GBP).
