New Digimon anime announced – “Digimon Beatbreak” airs in October 2025

The production of a new television animation series, “DIGIMON BEATBREAK,” has been confirmed, representing the first new Digimon series in approximately two years.

The cinematic adaptation of “Digimon Adventure” was released on March 6th, 1999, with the television anime series bearing the same title commenced its broadcast on March 7th, the day following the movie’s release.

From that point onwards, “Digimon Animation” has been committed to narrating the various stories of numerous characters and their respective partner Digimon.

The announcement of a new TV anime series was made at DIGIMON CON 2025, a streaming event held on March 20th. The new series will be the first since the previous installment, “Digimon Ghost Game”, which aired from 2021 to 2023.

Accompanying the announcement were a teaser visual and promotional video, which included depictions of the protagonist, their partner Digimon, and elements of the series’ setting.

Specific details regarding the narrative and the series’ world are currently withheld. The series’ tagline is “A life form that feeds on emotions.”

The broadcast of “DIGIMON BEATBREAK” is scheduled to commence in October 2025 – more details will be announced closer to the air date, so keep an eye out for new updates until then!
