My Melody and Kuromi star in adorable new bunny themed Sanrio merch line
Sanrio has announced another adorable collection to celebrate significant milestones for two of its most iconic characters.
To commemorate My Melody’s 50th anniversary and Kuromi’s 20th anniversary, Sanrio is releasing the “My Melody & Kuromi MeloUsa & RomiUsa Design Series”.
The new collection is a reinterpretation of the popular “MeloUsa & RomiUsa Design” collection that first debuted in 2009.
This refreshed series incorporates contemporary trends, featuring delightful fluffy rabbit textures and elegant heart quilting, creating a collection that fans will adore.
The pair’s anniversaries have been marked by the release of many different collabs this year, including phone cases and accessories by CASETiFY and an accessories collection by the iconic fashion magazine ELLE.

The “My Melody & Kuromi MeloUsa & RomiUsa Design Series” will be available at Sanrio directly managed stores, Sanrio corners within department stores, and the Sanrio online shop.
Please note that some stores may not carry all items, and outlet or Sanrio Cafe locations are excluded from this release.
To ensure fans have a fair chance to buy items, purchase limits will be in effect from August 8th to August 14th: customers at physical stores are limited to one of each item per character and up to 8 secret straps per person, while online shop purchases are limited to two of each item per character and up to 8 secret straps per person.
