My Hero Academia live orchestra concerts to tour globally in 2026

Having accompanied Izuku Midoriya and Class 1-A through a decade of intense battles and emotional growth, the musical score of My Hero Academia has become as iconic as the heroes themselves.
With the anime adaptation reaching its climactic conclusion across eight seasons, the franchise is celebrating its 10th anniversary by bringing those stirring melodies to the stage.
Sony Music Solutions has announced a special symphonic event titled “My Hero Academia IN Concert” to commemorate this major milestone in the series’ history.

In a major expansion of the celebration, organizers confirmed that the concert will embark on a world tour following its debut in Japan.
While specific countries and cities have not yet been announced, the tour aims to bring the live experience to the franchise’s massive global fanbase.
The premiere performance in Japan will feature a luxurious live orchestral rendition of the soundtrack that has defined the series, from the early days of U.A. High to the final war against All For One.
The event will be led by the series’ long-time composer, Yuki Hayashi, serving as the bandmaster for a special orchestral band dubbed “THE HEROES.”

In addition to the musical performance, the concert will host a special stage segment featuring the anime’s main cast, offering a rare opportunity to see the voice actors interact with the live score.

Voice actors Daiki Yamashita (voice of Izuku Midoriya), Nobuhiko Okamoto (voice of Katsuki Bakugo), and Yuki Kaji (voice of Shoto Todoroki) are confirmed to appear for a talk session and a live “afreco” (dubbing) performance.

To mark the occasion, a newly drawn key visual featuring the characters in formal attire was also unveiled.
Composer Yuki Hayashi expressed his joy that the music will resonate with fans again, hoping the “thoughts, conflicts, and hopes of the heroes” will reach the audience through the majestic sound.

The cast also shared their excitement, with Daiki Yamashita describing the soundtrack as an indispensable presence that guides the characters, much like a classmate in Class 1-A.
Nobuhiko Okamoto noted that just as the series is filled with a full range of emotions, the music encapsulates that same joy, anger, sorrow, and pleasure.
All ticket holders will receive a “Ticket-style Commemorative Card” featuring the new visual as an admission bonus.

Fans can also opt for tickets that include a “Selectable Bonus,” which is a B5-sized art board available in five different designs:

- Key Visual Version
- Izuku Midoriya Version
- Katsuki Bakugo Version
- Ochaco Uraraka Version
- Shoto Todoroki Version
The Japan premiere is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the Pacifico Yokohama National Convention Hall, with both a daytime and evening performance.

Ticket sales began on December 20, 2025, through a lottery system on eplus.
