The First Berserker: Khazan Celebrates First Anniversary with Player Stats and Developer Message

Nexon and developer Neople are celebrating the first anniversary of their action RPG, The First Berserker: Khazan, by releasing a comprehensive set of player statistics and a special message from the creative director on March 27, 2026.
Creative director Junho Lee expressed his deep gratitude to the community, noting that the development team is currently working on new content to expand the story of Khazan.

Data released for the anniversary reveals that 40 percent of players reached the “The First Berserker” ending, while 35 percent finished on Normal and 25 percent completed the “Chain” path.

The game’s Expert difficulty proved particularly lethal, with the boss Viper claiming over 17 million player lives, followed closely by Volbano and Maluca.
In the more challenging Hardcore difficulty, Maluca emerged as the deadliest encounter with 206,169 deaths recorded.

The total number of player deaths worldwide has reached a staggering 273,804,045, with over 20 million of those attributed to falling from heights.

Among the three primary weapon types, the Spear was the most popular choice at 38 percent, followed by Dual Wield at 37 percent and the Greatsword at 25 percent.

The statistic also highlighted 43 dedicated players who managed to defeat bosses using only their fists, eschewing traditional weaponry entirely.
The fastest recorded clear time for Hardcore difficulty stands at two hours and 10 minutes, a feat that involved defeating 16 bosses in rapid succession.

The First Berserker: Khazan is currently available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S, and the developers have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting the title following its successful 2025 launch.
