Monster Hunter x Zoids Zinogre Crossover Kits Unveiled by Takara Tomy

A fierce new model kit crossover between Monster Hunter and Zoids has been officially revealed by Takara Tomy.
Two new “Monster Hunter x Zoids SYNERGENEX” kits will adapt the popular Thunder Wolf Wyvern Zinogre into two different dynamic moving models that will be released under Takara Tomy’s “T-SPARK” hobby label.

Originally released in 2004, the Monster Hunter action role-playing series drops players into expansive ecosystems where they track down and battle colossal beasts.

Hunters must carefully study the attack patterns of these massive monsters to successfully complete challenging quests.

Players then use the materials harvested from these fallen creatures to forge powerful weapons and resilient armor sets, creating an incredibly satisfying gameplay loop.

Zoids has a long history of delivering complex motorized models of mechanical lifeforms, with the Zoids Wild anime heavily focusing on the iconic Wild Liger as a central mecha.

This exciting collaboration successfully merges the familiar form of the mechanical lion with the fearsome aesthetic of Zinogre.
The “Wild Liger Zinogre” moving kit meticulously reproduces the defining traits of the thunder-elemental beast.
Builders will immediately notice the accurately sculpted face, prominent horns, and the characteristic fur pattern running down the back of the armor.
Takara Tomy is also offering a secondary variant that combines it with the terrifying Stygian Zinogre subspecies.
This alternate version features a striking black color scheme accented by sharp white details, perfectly resembling the dark, dragon-elemental equipment forged from the creature in the games.

Both moving model kits will feature the integrated motor system that the series is famous for.
Takara Tomy will officially open pre-orders for both moving kits starting in June 2026.

The standard Zinogre model will receive a general retail release, but the “Stygian Zinogre” variant is a limited distribution exclusive.

It will only be possible to secure this particular subspecies colorway through the official Takara Tomy Mall and participating “T-SPARK ZONE” retailers.

Fans looking to add the Monster Hunter x Zoids crossover kits to their collection should mark their calendars for the upcoming summer reservation window to avoid missing out on what is sure to be a sought after collaboration.
